High Altitude Properties navigates legal landscape of property acquisition with Mason Thomas Law
Leaving the world of retail for property development was a big step for Matt Lipscombe of High Altitude Properties, but it is one that has paid off thanks to the support of Mason Thomas Law. The company already has a number of property deals under its belt and investors onboard in just 18 months.
In 2020 Matt made the decision to leave a senior position at Aldi and establish High Altitude Properties, based in Cheadle, Cheshire.
Having been a builder prior to going to university, Matt had experience with the practical side of property development, however, the legal issues that come with property development were a complete minefield to him.
Matt turned to commercial property law specialist Mason Thomas Law for help and support. Jo Malcolm, Director and Conveyancer at Mason Thomas Law has since been instrumental in the completion of a number of deals for High Altitude Properties.

High Altitude Properties has gone from strength-to-strength. In just 18 months the company has acquired five properties: three tenanted, one new build and one HMO which is currently being renovated. It has also attracted six investors and is currently looking to expand its portfolio with additional residential properties in the Greater Manchester area.
