Mason Thomas Law is delighted to have been Highly Commended in the Excellence in Customer Service Award, sponsored by The Source, at the Celebration of Business Awards 2022 organised by Barnsley and Rotherham’s Chamber and Commerce.
There was tough competition with over 100 entries across seven award categories so to walk away being Highly Commended meant the world to the Mason Thomas Law. The team pride themselves on being commercial and residential property law specialists and providing a bespoke service to deliver the very best in customer service with a shared ethos of getting the job done for their clients.

Highly Commended – Mason Thomas Law and Dark Cherry
Cathy Thomas, Director and Solicitor, Mason Thomas Law, commented on the award: “The entire team are absolutely thrilled to have been Highly Commended in the Excellence in Customer Service category. ‘Doing things differently’ is exactly what we set-out to achieve and what the team strive to do every day. Responsiveness and open communication is at the heart of everything we do, so for this to be recognised in such a wonderful way makes all the hard work worth it!”
Joada Allen, President, Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber said: “I would like to congratulate every business who was shortlisted, highly commended, and won awards during our evening. It’s great to have our awards back and it was clear not only from the numbers of entries we received but the quality of the submissions, that there has been some incredible work delivered by businesses in Barnsley & Rotherham and the wider region over the past twelve months.
“In business we must be brave enough to take a calculated risk, to sometimes fail and start again, but with the right mindset and support from organisations like the Chamber of Commerce, we can all play a part in building a brighter future for our region.”
The team enjoyed a great evening at the glittering event which took place at Magna on Friday 4th November and saw around 500 members of the local business community come together to create a party-like atmosphere, complete with its own light show, aerial dancers, fire eaters and much more.
